I. Corridor & Lobby Maintenance
General Rules

1. Rug Cleaning
Rugs should be thoroughly clean and free from dust, dirt, and other debris. Nap on rugs should be laid in one direction. |
2. Hard Floor Cleaning
Hard floors around rugs will be cleaned with tool. All hard floor areas will be cleaned with hard floor tools. No dirt will be left in corners, under furniture, or behind doors. |
3. Furniture Replaced
All Furniture moved during the clean operation will be returned to its original position. |

1. Corridor and Lobby Floors
a. Corridor and lobby floors of the assigned area will be free of loose paper, bottles, trash and other foreign materials. b. Wads of gum, spots of tar and other foreign substances that tend to stick to the floors will be removed. |
2. Jardinières and / or Urn
a. Jardinières will be free of refuse and be presentable in appearance. b. Cigarette butts, burnt matches and other discarded material will be removed from around jardinière and / or sand urn locations. c. Sand urns will be free of refuse and the top sand will present a clean and neat appearance. Sand will be replaced as needed. |
3. Drinking Fountains and Glass Surfaces
a. Drinking fountain surfaces will be free of discarded rubbish, ink stains, finger marks, and other dirt smudges, and should present a neat appearance. b. Glass surfaces located in doors, pictures, displays, directory boards, and other such items within the as signed area will be tidy and free of finger marks, smudges, and other dirt. |
Mopping Wet Areas
1. Entrances, corridor and lobby floors will be free of wet spots and footprints.
2. Wall surfaces and baseboards will be free of watermarks resulting from the mopping operation.
